All sales are final. Because our sourdough is baked fresh to order and perishable, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges—unless the issue is on our end (e.g., wrong item, missing item, significant quality defect, or order not prepared as promised).

When We’ll Make It Right

If we made a mistake, we’ll replace the item or issue a credit/refund at our discretion. Eligible situations include:

• We baked the wrong item or the wrong quantity

• A significant quality defect attributable to us (e.g., underbaked/overbaked to an unusable degree, foreign material)

• Order not ready at the confirmed pickup window through our error

• Delivery mistake caused by us (wrong address used despite correct info on the order)

 

We can’t guarantee outcomes for carrier delays, extreme weather, or heat exposure during transit if shipping is offered.

What’s Not Eligible

• Taste preferences (“too sour,” “not sour enough,” “not like last time”)

• Normal handmade variation in shape, scoring, color, or oven spring

• Allergen exposure—our home kitchen is not allergen-free; cross-contact is possible

• Missed pickup or not being available during the delivery window

• Improper storage after pickup/delivery (e.g., refrigeration that accelerates staling)

• Damage after handoff or to orders left at a customer-designated safe drop

• Custom/holiday preorders once confirmed (non-refundable)

How to Report an Issue (If It’s Our Fault)

Please email within 24 hours of pickup/delivery with:

1. Order number

2. A brief description of the issue

3. Clear photos of the product and packaging

We’ll review and, if approved, offer a replacement, store credit, or refund for the affected item(s). Any approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.

Cancellations & Changes

Orders are final once placed. If you need to request a change, contact us, we’ll try to help if 24 hours before the bake, but we can’t guarantee modifications.

Chargebacks

Please contact us first—most issues are easy to resolve. Unfounded chargebacks may result in order restrictions.
